Job summary

The Detroit Red Wings are seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to develop and maintain software projects within Hockey Operations. You will report to the Director of Statistical Analysis in Hockey Operations.

Responsibilities include building internal products, applying modern lifecycle practices, and integrating hockey analytics into proprietary tools, with opportunities to design new software while collaborating with leadership.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications in a production environment.
• Experience with at least one popular single-page application framework.
• Experience with large-scale relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to work through requirements, design, testing, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Perform development and maintenance on internal software products.
• Utilize modern software techniques and best practices across the software lifecycle.
• Support integration of hockey analysis into proprietary tools and applications.
• Assist with design and development of new software products.
• Other projects or responsibilities as directed by Hockey Operations leadership.
