TILT Autonomy, Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for internal tools, with remote or on-site work in Annapolis, MD.
You’ll build and own internal procurement, BOM, inventory, labeling, and dashboard tools end to end, from database to UI. You will work with Flask/Node backends, React front-ends, SQL (SQLite today), REST APIs, and Claude-powered features, shipping reliable tooling with tests and version control.

TILT Autonomy, Inc. — Remote or Annapolis, MDFull-Time | $90k–$160k DOE
TILT Autonomy builds the autonomy hardware and software that lets aircraft and boats flyand sail themselves — flight management control systems, the code that runs on them, andthe tools that make both possible. Most of us got here the same way: taking things apart, writing our own tools when the ones on the shelf didn't fit, and staying up too late toget something working. The team is focused and deeply technical, and our systems are outin the field doing real work.
Some questions we actually care about:
If you found yourself nodding, keep reading. The engineers who do their best work hereare the ones with a soldering iron and a 3D printer at home, a repo full of scripts theywrote for an audience of one, and a habit of building the thing rather than filing aticket about it.
You'll build the internal tools that keep TILT running — the systems the team uses tomanage BOMs and procurement, track inventory, print labels, run dashboards, and putClaude to work on the tedious parts of the day. You own them end to end: the database, the back end, and the interface people actually click.
This is the job for someone who has always built their own tools. A teammate walks overwith a rough annoyance, and a few days later there's a thing that makes it disappear —and you get to watch people use it that same week. Nothing here is a ticket handed downfrom a spec: you decide what to build, how to build it, and when it's good enough toship. Plenty of it touches real hardware too, from label printers on the shop floor tothe vendor systems our parts come through.
Remote or on-site in Annapolis, MD. This work is a strong fit for remote — most of it isweb tooling. Occasional travel to Annapolis for the hardware-adjacent pieces (labelprinters, shop-floor tools) helps but isn't required.
