Job summary

Sage is seeking a Software Engineering Intern (Full Stack) for Summer 2027 in New York, NY. You join a product engineering team from day one, contributing to roadmap, pull requests, and production code, with an experienced engineer as your mentor.

The internship runs from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, and you’ll help build features for caregiver workflows and resident safety using React, TypeScript, and Java backend services. Expect meaningful ownership and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Evidence of building projects or internships in software.
• Familiarity with APIs, HTTP, and databases.
• Curiosity and ability to learn quickly from feedback.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ship production code as part of a product engineering team.
• Build user-facing experiences in React/TypeScript.
• Develop backend services in Java powering workflows and notifications.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to deliver features.
• Learn to build reliable software used by caregivers and residents.
