Job summary

Temple University's LKSOM Information Technology Department is seeking a Software Engineer 1 - Full Stack to design, develop, test, and support applications used by students, faculty, and staff. The role independently owns work from requirements through deployment, working with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable solutions.

The position operates in a hybrid environment at Temple University's Health Sciences Campus, with occasional on-site attendance and potential flexible arrangements after

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing and supporting applications, integrations, databases, reporting, or automation solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently complete assigned technical work and support production systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, maintain, troubleshoot, and modernize web applications and related technical solutions.
• Design and develop responsive, accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server queries, views, stored procedures, and data access components.
• Create and maintain reporting and analytics solutions (SSRS and other approved tools).
• Develop data integrations, ETL workflows, APIs, automated file transfers, and data pipelines.
