Job summary

Viasat is seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to build high-performance web applications and an API-driven multi-network satellite orchestration platform. You will contribute to real-time situational awareness and command-and-control capabilities for a global fleet, leveraging cloud and analytics technologies.

You will collaborate in an Agile team, mentor juniors, and partner with UX to deliver intuitive user experiences while driving architectural improvements across the stack.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building web applications.
• Expertise in React, Spring Boot, Python, or Go.
• Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of distributed systems.
• Experience deploying in AWS, Azure, or other clouds.
• Familiarity with microservices and modern architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
