Job summary

McKesson's Ontada Genospace team is seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and support our cloud-hosted Genospace platform. You will work with clinicians and researchers to apply precision medicine and manage high-dimensional genomic data.

You'll collaborate in a small team, review code, and help shape engineering processes while delivering robust software across web applications and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• Experience building web applications or data processing systems.
• Familiarity with web technologies and a depth of experience with at least one common programming language.
• Experience with front end tech, back-end tech and data base technology.
• Ability to design software to meet functional and technical requirements and communicate designs clearly.
• Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and designers to craft solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work on a small team to design, develop, test, release, and support features in our web-based, cloud-hosted applications.
• Provide feedback through code and design reviews, collaborating and learning from teammates.
• Help shape and implement enhancements to our engineering processes, products, and technology platform.
