Job summary

McKesson's Ontada team is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help build and deliver the Genospace software platform. You will work on web-based, cloud-hosted applications used by clinicians and researchers across the country and beyond to improve patient care.

You'll design, develop, test, and support features, collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and designers, and help shape our engineering processes and technology stack including Vue.js, Java, Groovy, and data technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Experience building web applications or data processing systems.
• Familiarity with web technologies and at least one common programming language.
• Experience with front end tech, back end tech and data base technology.
• A demonstrable ability to design software to meet functional and technical requirements and to communicate your designs effectively.
• Ability to consider problems creatively and critically while collaborating with product owners, data scientists, and designers in order to come up with solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and support features in our web-based, cloud-hosted applications.
• Provide feedback to teammates through code and software design reviews, collaborating with and learning from each other while delivering great software.
• Help shape and implement enhancements to our engineering process, products, and technology platform.
