Job summary

AIG is building a Generative AI team to design, develop, and operate GenAI data pipelines that enable advanced AI models and analytics across our business. You will contribute to scalable data solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Design, develop and implement data processing pipelines and GenAI data workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level language (Python, TypeScript, Java).
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).

How you will create impact:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer for GenAI, you will be a part of the design, development, and operationalization of GenAI data pipelines that enable innovative AI models and analytics. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver data solutions that drive business insights and value, all while ensuring scalability and sustainability. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data engineering at AIG, guiding teams through complex data challenges and enabling AI-powered decision-making that will fuel business growth.

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and deliver innovative data solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Building and maintaining GenAI data pipelines across the business
• Partnering with data architects and senior engineers to implement best practices, ensuring sustainable and scalable technical designs.
• Working closely with analytics, application development, and data science teams to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
• Delivering on-time, high-quality results on fast-paced schedules while maintaining rigorous standards for development and code management.

What is needed to be successful:

• Be curious and motivated to learn new things
• Design, develop and implement data processing pipelines in Palantir Foundry. Prior experience in Foundry is a big plus but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (Python, Typescript, Java, JavaScipt/React), a strong background in Typescript is a plus but not required.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• An understanding of containerization and compute optimization
• Build and maintain scalable and reliable APIs to expose data and functionalities to other services and applications.
• Identify and implement performance optimization for existing code and data processing workflows, including leveraging containerization technologies for parallel execution.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of our data platform and applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience setting up E2E Engineering pipeline, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

It would be nice if:

• You are passionate about exploring innovative AI and Generative AI technologies, using them to drive impactful solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
• You would enjoy working within the financial services or insurance industry and understand the unique data challenges these sectors face.
