Ford Motor Company is seeking a seasoned front-end engineer in Dearborn, MI to build high-quality interfaces and cloud-native services. You will drive reusable code, contribute to test automation, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver performant software for commercial and fleet solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent or combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• 3+ years with object-oriented languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, C#).
• 1+ years developing and deploying on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with modern relational and non-relational databases.
• Proven expertise building web UIs with React.js, Angular, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Proficiency debugging with modern tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Terraform).
• Familiarity with end-to-end test automation frameworks.

What you'll do…

• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles


• Experience with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices: Pair/Mob programming, TDD


• Background with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful web-service development


• Exposure to machine learning, mathematical modeling, or data analysis


• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases


• Comfortable using Agile tools (Jira, backlogs, user stories, sprints)


• Proven ability to partner with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders


• In-depth React.js expertise (Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, Flux) and front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)


• Experience with performance testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest)


• Passion for pair programming and collaborative code review


• Strong fundamentals in data modeling

This position is a range of salary grades 6–8 | $85,400 - $192,900
