Job summary

iHeartMedia in Austin, TX seeks a talented full stack developer to help build the next generation of programming, playout, and content delivery systems for radio, streaming, and digital platforms. You will work closely with the tech lead to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain web apps and APIs running in the cloud, at the edge, and everywhere in between.

The role requires 3+ years in web development, with strong TypeScript/Node.js and React experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of front end, back end, or full stack web development with Agile/QA
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience building UIs with React
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, SQS)
• Familiarity with CloudWatch, NoSQL and relational databases
• Experience with edge or field-deployed devices is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality software components with reuse and test-driven development
• Build new features and enhancements for existing products across radio, streaming, and digital platforms
• Write, test, and deploy React front ends and Node.js/TypeScript back ends with serverless infrastructure
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with Architects
• Deliver software with minimal defects and troubleshoot issues quickly
• Contribute to planning and effort estimation for new features
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable releases
• Support and troubleshoot code on edge devices deployed in the field
• Monitor system health with dashboards and alerts
