Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for Developer Systems. You will own end-to-end software development, from design through deployment, across mission-critical applications used in Starship/manufacturing and Starlink platforms.

You will collaborate with engineers, join architecture discussions, and ship robust, scalable software in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. Onsite work is required, with a strong focus on production readiness and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Experience with Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar OO language.
• 1+ years of building single page web applications.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD concepts.
• Expertise in designing software systems and testing, deployment & monitoring.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users’ problems to create efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture and code reviews through collaboration
