Job summary

Everforth Apex is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and maintain full-stack web applications and data processing pipelines in a hybrid Johnston, Iowa setting. You will build scalable, secure services, and contribute to research and development efforts.

The role emphasizes strong Python/JS/TypeScript skills, RESTful services, and experience with AWS. Collaboration in agile ceremonies and a focus on quality through testing are expected.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience developing high-quality, multi-tier applications.
• 2 years in full-stack web development with RESTful services.
• Proficient with Python; JavaScript/TypeScript; React and Angular.
• 1 year of AWS experience (Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS) or equivalent.
• 1 year of SQL/database-backed app development and debugging.
• 1 year of Linux experience.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support data processing pipelines and full-stack web applications.
• Create unit and integration tests for every feature.
• Apply design principles to R&D solutions.
• Deploy applications to AWS with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and automation.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts in agile ceremonies (daily Scrum, sprint planning, sprint reviews).
