Open Systems Technologies Corporation is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to work on a large IT project for the intelligence community. You will design, develop, test, and debug complex software, and you will be a hands-on platform builder skilled in scalable applications and analytics on large data sets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, and Python in production environments.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-based services on AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices with Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing software and tools; recommend technologies to improve performance and usability.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy new software tools expanding capabilities.
• Advise hardware teams on machine characteristics affecting software systems and resolve incompatibilities.
• Draft and update user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, PMs, and engineers across functions.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver customer support for software systems.
• Recommend continuous improvement opportunities and best practices.
• Work with the team to sustain and advance organizational capabilities.
