Spidr is seeking a software engineer for on-site work at our Aurora, IL office. The role requires two years of full-time software development experience and focuses on building Python-based services with PostgreSQL and React frontends.
You will design, implement, and polish scalable systems, REST APIs, and responsive user interfaces for our marketing-focused projects Adstrala and Inventory.
Spidr has been developing full-service digital marketing solutions for large-scale clients for over twenty years.
We have two ongoing software-heavy projects: Adstrala and Inventory.
Co-op advertising is a cost-sharing arrangement in which a brand reimburses its retailers or dealers for a share of their local ad spend on the brand’s products. It increases the budget available to both sides but creates a large administrative burden. Spidr built adstrala.com to handle that burden for the co-op programs it runs. Adstrala manages co-op campaign enrollment, billing, ad placement, ad management, and reporting.
We host marketing-focused equipment inventory applications to provide OEMs a way to generate rich lower-funnel leads from both organic and paid traffic. We’re looking to further this tool for existing brands and expand to other companies.
Features are designed in Figma and built with Python, PostgreSQL, and React. If you have experience designing systems, building reliable REST APIs, and polishing responsive frontends, we want to hear from you.
This role is on-site five days a week at our Aurora, IL office. We do not offer relocation assistance, but do have a mini shuffleboard set which is a lot of fun.
This is not an entry-level or new-grad position. Two years of full-time software engineering experience is required.
Salary range: $100k to $120k, depending on experience.
After 90-day introductory period, we offer employer matching IRA contributions up to 3% and a competitive employee health insurance plan that includes medical, dental and vision coverage.
