LMI, headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, seeks a Software Engineer with strong React, Spring, and PostgreSQL skills to join our government-focused logistics app team. You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to rapidly iterate, improve performance, and build a secure, scalable platform for federal users.

You’ll contribute to REST APIs, cloud and container deployments, and work in an environment that values speed, security, and rigorous quality.

Formación

• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in React, including component design, hooks, and modern front-end patterns.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs using Java Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, migrations, performance tuning).
• Familiarity with secure software development practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc).
• Comfortable working in Agile or Lean environments, with rapid delivery cycles and direct user feedback loops.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Active Secret or TS clearance preferred.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong React, Spring, and PostgreSQL skills to join our logistics app team. Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on work with secure government environments (DoD, IL5+, FedRAMP).
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud.
• Experience building logistics, supply chain, or asset tracking applications.
• Exposure to message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Certifications like Security+, AWS Developer/Architect, or Scrum Master.
• Past experience at a startup or in rapid-growth teams.

Target salary range: $100,000 - 165,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
