Job summary

Amgen seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to advance web applications across front-end and back-end layers, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and AWS. This role emphasizes building solutions with generative AI, LLMs, and modern cloud architectures in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

You will partner with design and product teams, write clean, testable code, and participate in code reviews while continually learning new technologies to drive impact for patients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s with 2+ years software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience
• 8 years experience with HS level alternative path

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, preferably ReactJS.
• Develop and manage back-end services using Python or Node.js on AWS.
• Experience building or integrating applications with generative AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG patterns, or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate user needs into technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain system uptime and optimal performance.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends
