Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 5-7+ years of experience to join our team supporting cloud-based drilling and well reporting applications. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and cloud solutions that generate and deliver critical post-drill reports to customers.

You will work within an Agile team to develop microservices and web applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Node.js and cloud-based app development.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Moq, or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, design patterns, and Agile Development.
• Experience troubleshooting production applications.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.
• Interest in mentorship/technical leadership while hands-on.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, troubleshooting.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 5-7+ years of experience to join our team supporting cloud-based drilling and well reporting applications. This role will focus primarily on building and maintaining scalable backend services and cloud solutions that generate and deliver critical post-drill reports and deliverables to customers. The engineer will work within an Agile team to design, develop, test, and support modern microservices and web applications hosted in Microsoft Azure, while collaborating closely with software engineers, product stakeholders, and domain experts. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong individual contributor who is interested in growing into a future technical leadership role.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience
