Tulip Interfaces in Somerville, MA, offers a hybrid role where you’ll contribute to a cloud-native, no-code platform used by industrial operations. You’ll work across a large tech stack, write and maintain clean code, and ship features that delight users.

With 5-7+ years of software engineering, expert TS and Postgres, and API design experience, you’ll help drive product momentum. The team collaborates across Engineering, Product Design, Product Management and TechOps to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience, preferably at a SaaS enterprise software company.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Postgres.
• Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services).
• Understanding of database design principles and optimization.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices.

What skills do I need

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally at a SaaS enterprise software company.


• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Postgres is required.


• Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services).


• Understanding of database design principles and optimization.


• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices.


• Works well both as an individual and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with our tech stack - including React, Redux, Redis, Node.js, Golang, Electron, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Docker.


• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions) and automated deployment strategies.


• Experience with ClickHouse


• Experience with Kafka


• Experience with LLM-assisted coding workflows


• Experience with Kubernetes/our monitoring stack (Grafana LGTM)

Expected compensation ranges for this role may change over time. The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000 per year.
