Tulip in Somerville, MA, is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our hybrid team. You’ll develop scalable features across our stack and contribute to product quality from design to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally at a SaaS enterprise software company.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and PostgreSQL is required.
• Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services).
• Understanding of database design principles and optimization.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices.
• Works well both as an individual and as part of a team.

What skills do I need?

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally at a SaaS enterprise software company.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with Postgres is required.
• Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services).
• Understanding of database design principles and optimization.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices.
• Works well both as an individual and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with our tech stack - including React, Redux, Redis, Node.js, Golang, Electron, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions) and automated deployment strategies.
• Experience with ClickHouse
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with LLM-assisted coding workflows
• Experience with Kubernetes/our monitoring stack (Grafana LGTM)

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000 per year.
