Parsons is seeking a Software Developer I to join our team and work on a set of user productivity tools for a sophisticated Modeling & Simulation environment. You will develop desktop applications inside Electron using React for the GUI, and connect the GUI via TypeScript to a C++ server.

The role spans full-stack web tools with a React frontend, Django backend, and SQL databases. We value a growth mindset and solid fundamentals in OO programming and memory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS with 2+ years of experience or Master's with 0+ years.
• Experience in C++ and Python.
• StrongOO fundamentals and memory management.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop desktop applications inside Electron with React GUI and a TS-based interface to a C++ server.
• Full-stack work on a browser-based data analysis tool (React frontend, Python Django backend, SQL database).
• Implement GUI designs from Product Designer.
• Maintain separation of GUI code from core logic.
• Develop code within RMF requirements and implement tests in CI pipelines.
• Provide on-site customer support at Redstone Arsenal as needed.
