Develops, tests, deploys, troubleshoots, and maintains full-stack web applications for Delta Dental of Kentucky and its affiliates and subsidiaries. Participates throughout the software development life cycle, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years of professional software development experience contributing to the successful delivery and support of software applications for internal and/or external customers across multiple release cycles. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Front-end and user-interface development experience is required.
Position requires experience applying professional software engineering practices across the software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, application security, source control, build processes, testing, deployment, and DevOps. Candidates should have hands‑on development experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6 or later, Entity Framework Core, relational databases, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with experience designing or consuming Web APIs and building responsive web applications. Experience with React, Blazor, or a comparable front‑end framework is required; familiarity with both React and Blazor is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly, document work, and collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Experience working in a PCI, HIPAA, or other regulated environment is preferred.
