Job summary

Fluke Corporation is seeking a Software Design Engineer for its Global Operations Information Systems Team in Everett, WA. You will grow your full-stack enterprise skills and support Python (Django), React, Java EE, and other languages across cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities include supporting legacy apps, building new full-stack web tools, and advancing cloud infrastructure, containers, DevOps, and microservices, with a focus on reliability and end-user impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in computer science, information technologies, or engineering-related discipline.
• 3+ years of focused full-stack web development with CI/CD and testing.
• Proficiency in Python, React, and Java EE; cloud/containers with Docker and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Learn and provide primary support for legacy and web applications using Python, React, Java, and C#.
• Develop a wide variety of new full-stack, I18N, web-based applications.
• Improve AWS-based and on-premises infrastructure and services.
• Contribute to migration toward containers, microservices, DevOps, and SCADA integration.
• Champion software development best practices and collaborate with end users.
• Work with IT and other teams to implement user-requested improvements.
