Watney Robotics Inc. seeks a versatile software engineer to own and advance our end-to-end software ecosystem, spanning backend infrastructure, enterprise platforms, and interactive web frontends.

You’ll help scale production deployments for autonomous robotics and related off-robot systems. The role emphasizes building video-driven annotation tools, VR interfaces, and secure customer portals, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and cross-discipline collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack experience contributing to scalable cloud infrastructure, media/video streaming pipelines, or complex rendering systems.
• Experience with or interest in Rust, or have strong C++/functional programming fundamentals.
• Experience operating software at the intersection of physical hardware, complex simulations, or autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development for video-heavy annotation platforms, VR teleoperation interfaces, and secure customer portals.
• Build cloud infrastructure, load balancing, and high-throughput pipelines to ingest and process petabyte-scale telemetry streams in real time.
