Job summary

Capgemini in Dallas is seeking a QA/Test Engineer with strong experience in Agile, test automation, and data-driven testing to help deliver complex distributed applications. You will work across stacks including Java Spring Boot, SQL databases, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes designing test strategies and automation suites for new products, applying frameworks such as Rest Assured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG, while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile development methodology and Jira tool.
• Experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack.
• Hands on experience in Test Management lifecycle.
• Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or DB2 or Postgres and experience with PLSQL and complex queries views packages etc.
• Strong experience in test automation design, development and execution using frameworks eg Rest Assured Playwright Karate Cucumber TestNG.
• Strong proven experience in programming Java Spring boot Strong SQL skills are required Knowledge of Java Script, Typescript is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and deployment GitHub Maven Jenkins Docker SonarQube etc.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure AWS cloud technologies DevOps CICD experience.
• Experience in working with Stock Plan Services Brokerage is a plus.
• The candidate should have experience in designing test strategy test automation suites independently for a new product application.
