Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Full Stack Python Engineer to accelerate the development of a growing SaaS platform used by enterprise customers to manage, visualize, and act on operational data. You will influence product direction and build features across the stack, from backend services to rich frontend dashboards.

You will collaborate with product and technical teams, design scalable data models, and ensure performance, reliability, and security.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of production-grade software experience.
  • Strong backend with Python or similar.
  • Full stack experience across server-side and frontend.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs.
  • Relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
  • Experience with data-intensive platforms, analytics, or ETL.
  • Exposure to React/Next.js or similar JS frameworks.
  • Background contributing to SaaS products or cloud-based applications.
  • Ability to independently drive projects while collaborating across teams.
  • Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

We're seeking a Full Stack Python Engineer to help accelerate the development of a growing SaaS platform used by enterprise customers to manage, visualize, and act on critical operational data. This is a highly visible opportunity to influence product direction, build new features from the ground up, and work across the entire technology stack. You'll contribute to modern applications that blend analytics, automation, integrations, and rich user experiences while partnering closely with product and technical teams.

What You’ll Do
Product Innovation & Feature Delivery

Help bring new product ideas to life by designing and building capabilities that customers use every day. Develop and launch new application features from concept through production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business challenges into intuitive software solutions. Improve platform capabilities while maintaining performance, reliability, and scalability. Contribute ideas that help accelerate product roadmap initiatives.

Platform & Application Development

Create and enhance services that power data-driven experiences. Build backend services, APIs, and application logic using modern development frameworks. Design scalable data models and support systems that process large volumes of operational information. Develop responsive frontend experiences including dashboards, reporting tools, and interactive interfaces. Support integrations with external business systems and platforms.

Engineering Excellence

Help strengthen the long-term health of the product and engineering organization. Contribute to architecture discussions and technical direction. Promote development best practices, testing, and code quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement of deployment and delivery processes. Take ownership of solutions with minimal supervision and strong accountability.

What You Bring

We're interested in experienced software professionals who enjoy solving challenging problems and delivering customer-facing products. Typical backgrounds include:

  • Professional experience building production-grade software applications (2+ years of experience)
  • Strong backend development experience with Python or similar technologies
  • Full stack development experience spanning both server-side and user-facing applications
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs in modern applications
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization
  • Experience working with data-intensive platforms, analytics systems, or ETL processes
  • Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar technologies
  • Background contributing to SaaS products or cloud-based applications
  • Ability to independently drive projects while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
