Job Title: Full Stack Programmer Analyst
Clearance Required: Public Trust
Work location: Remote

Alpha Omega is looking for a Full-Stack Programmer Analyst to join our team. The work includes building seamless applications that interact directly with physical devices like scales and measuring boards, developing robust APIs, and creating high-performance Progressive Web Applications (PWAs). The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both front-end and back-end technologies, a passion for IoT and hardware integration, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Must be proficient in SQL back ends. This individual will be required to work closely with AO, its client's and/or any third-party staff, including subject matter and technical experts, project managers, etc. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems.
  • Ability to analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality, and maintainability.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to support all phases of the SDLC including O&M support and disposition.
  • Enthusiasm, positive attitude, superb work ethic, attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of projects as a team player are necessary.
  • This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time-management skills.
  • Successful candidates must clear a background screen.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience

Experience/Skills:

  • 3-5 years of direct experience in application development
  • SQL
  • JavaScript in at least one current framework (React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • SOAP based Web Services
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, Microsoft TFS and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Prior production support and software O&M experience
  • Version control systems (SVN, Git)

Preferred Skills:

  • Mobile application development.
  • Device integration & Internet of Things. Experience with APIs and protocols to communicate with local hardware (e.g., serial comms, USB, Bluetooth, WiFi Direct).
  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certifications
  • Agile development / DevSecOps
  • Prior experience working in a government setting.

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $80,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
