Job summary

Dorsia in New York is seeking a Product Engineer to join a fast-moving, high-impact team. You will ship core product features across mobile (React Native) and backend services (PHP/TypeScript), with AI-powered tools and cloud-native platforms.

Collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver user-facing improvements, ensure code quality, and scale systems. The role offers equity and a full benefits package, with a mid-to-senior level focus and a competitive New York pay range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-7 years of fullstack engineering experience on fast-moving product teams.
• Full stack experience across React Native, TypeScript, and a server-side language such as PHP or Python.
• Track record of building with AI as part of product delivery.
• High agency and ownership mindset, shipping and unblocking yourself.
• Strong product sense and user experience focus, esp. in hospitality/marketplace contexts.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Vercel, or Cloudflare; GraphQL/REST; SQL/Redis.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and ship production code across mobile (React Native), backend (PHP/TypeScript), and infrastructure.
• Use AI-powered tools to prototype, debug, and automate work.
• Contribute across the stack: UI polish, performance, backend logic, and tooling.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations to define requirements and ship user-facing improvements.
• Write clean, testable code and promote healthy codebase practices as the team grows.
