Weather-Group-Television LLC is hiring a Privacy Engineer to help build and coordinate the technical privacy posture of our streaming platform. This full‑stack role focuses on consent, data handling, and regulatory alignment across client apps, backend services, and ad‑tech integrations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in full‑stack development with a privacy‑lean, and is comfortable coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams as we implement privacy by design.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-stack software engineering experience shipping production code across backend and frontend systems.
• Strong backend fundamentals — services, APIs, data pipelines, and storage.
• Practical frontend experience on CTV, web, or mobile.
• Experience with data privacy, security, or compliance-adjacent engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve consent management plumbing across client apps and backend services.
• Contribute to DSAR intake, verification, fulfillment and audit trail.
• Maintain a living data inventory: what data we collect, where it lives, and who it is shared with.
• Implement PII-handling patterns and promote privacy-by-design.
• Coordinate privacy architecture across client apps, backend services, data pipelines and vendor integrations.
• Monitor privacy signals in production and build tooling to detect drift.
• Advise feature teams on privacy implications and feasible outcomes.
