Job summary

Imperial Dade in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Software Developer to implement and enhance features using Node.js, React, and Next.js within an Agile team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality code, collaborating across disciplines, and continuously improving technical skills.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of software development experience, hands-on Node.js/React/Next.js, RESTful API work, and Git proficiency.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of software development experience.
Hands-on experience with Node.js, React and Next.js.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
Experience using Git and modern source control practices.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Implement application features and enhancements based on technical designs and requirements.
Develop and maintain applications using Node.js, React, Next.js
Build and consume RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads to understand business requirements and technical expectations.
Contribute to story estimation and sprint planning activities.
Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Participate in technical discussions and solution reviews.
