How a Full Stack .NET Developer will make an impact:
- Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
- Designs; develops; codes; tests; and debugs complex new software products; or makes significant enhancements to existing software.
- Researches and integrates design strategies; product specifications; development schedules; and user expectations into product capabilities.
- Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
- Supports application user interface accessibility requirements by understanding and applying best-practice and industry standard approached for meeting Section 508 and WCAG accessibility guidelines to application designs and development.
- Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals; system documentation; and training materials.
- Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support for software operating systems and application issues.
- Advises hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems; such as storage capacity; processing speed; and input/output requirements.
- Prepares reports on analyses; findings; and project progress.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Develops and recommends technical solutions to support client’s requirements in solving moderately complex network, platform and system security problems.
- Typical focus areas include analytical and engineering solutions based on federal and industry INFOSEC policy, doctrine and regulations.
- Responsibilities include secure system engineering and development, including system/security requirements analysis and secure system definition and specification development of INFOSEC policies and procedures utilizing technical and analytical skills.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics, or business/finance.
- 5+ years of related experience with front end development using ASP.NET Core
- 5+ years’ experience, of which at least 3 years must be specialized experience including the design and development of health care systems or experience in providing information system security support for such systems. General experience includes information system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing.
- C# and Entity Framework (or other ORM)
- Blazor, Razor, and Bootstrap– Experienced in these frameworks
- UX/UI Development– user-centered and accessibility-centered design with the ability to translate design into code effectively
- SQL/SQLite
- Azure –1+ year of experience with Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics
- General experience includes information system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing.
- 3 years working knowledge and experience with Agile development processes.
- 3 years of experience working with SOA/web service architectures.
- 3 years UI/UX Development or Design Experience
- Experience with HTML5, Java Script, and CSS; Strengths in accessibility-centered design and/or user-centered design; Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and client; Strong problem solving skills; Ability to develop and maintain healthy and positive team culture
Preferred Skills:
- 1+ year of experience with Data Extract, Transformations, Load (Azure Data Lake / Synapse Analytics, Spark, Python)
- Experience with the Indian Health Service RPMS and/or Veterans Administration VistA EHR systems.
- Familiarity with Healthcare standards e.g. HL7 FHIR, USCDI, SNOMED, ICD, CPT, LOINC, RxNorm etc.
Location: Remote. Candidates must live in the US.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain an appropriate level Public Trust which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the past 5 years.

None Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $110,614 - $146,625. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
