Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and manage technical tasks, user stories, bugs, and development activities using Azure DevOps.
  • Support interoperability and modernization initiatives involving existing .NET Framework, WinForms, WCF, and other legacy applications.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs, web services, integrations, and service-oriented applications.
  • Use development and troubleshooting tools including Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, xUnit/NUnit, SOAP UI, Chrome Developer Tools, and Visual Studio Debugger.
  • Configure, deploy, and support WinForms applications, web applications, and web services hosted in environments including Microsoft IIS, Windows Server, and SQL Server.
  • Analyze existing applications to identify technical debt, reliability concerns, security risks, performance issues, and modernization opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain data integration and data movement processes using technologies such as SSIS, Web Services, and Web APIs.
  • Support application deployment and release processes using Azure DevOps, InstallShield, and WiX.
  • Write clean, maintainable, secure code based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Follow established development standards, code quality practices, security requirements, and maintainability best practices.

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join its development team on a contract basis. This position will support the development of new software solutions, maintenance and enhancement of existing enterprise applications, troubleshooting of complex application and production issues, and modernization of legacy software systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing and supporting enterprise-level applications and services, along with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems, trace application behavior across multiple components, identify root causes, and implement reliable, maintainable solutions.
