Job summary

Baker Donelson is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack .NET Developer to join our IT team in Chattanooga, TN. You will design and build robust solutions using the .NET, frontend and backend stacks in an agile environment.

You will mentor peers, drive continuous improvement, and stay current with evolving technologies, while collaborating with stakeholders across the Product Team. A bachelor's degree and 4+ years of .NET experience are required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust solutions using the Microsoft .NET Development Stack.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and translate them into clear and efficient solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing Microsoft .NET applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest updates to the development stack.
• Be a participant and a leader in making decisions for enhancing or improving the development stack as part of our culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure, adhering to best practices and company standards.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience developing solutions with the Microsoft .NET development stack.
• Experience with the following frontend development stack: Razor Pages, MVC, Angular, Material Design, and jQuery.
• Experience with the following backend development stack: Microsoft .NET 8/9, Entity Framework, MediatR, FastEndPoints, Azure SQL Server, Azure App Services, Microsoft Graph, Docker, and Dev Containers.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, continuous integration pipelines, and infrastructure as code (bicep).
• Experience with message-driven development stacks such as NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or equivalent is preferred but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, extreme temperatures, and the like. Travel and work outside of the office are required.
