Job summary

Baker Donelson in Charleston seeks a skilled Full Stack .NET Developer to join our IT team. You will design and deliver robust solutions using the .NET stack, with a focus on modern frontend and cloud-backed services, while aligning with agile practices.

You will collaborate across stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, maintain existing applications, and mentor junior teammates as part of a culture of continuous improvement. Location is on-site with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience developing solutions with the Microsoft .NET development stack.
• Experience with frontend stack: Razor Pages, MVC, Angular, Material Design, and jQuery.
• Experience with backend stack: .NET 8/9, Entity Framework, MediatR, FastEndpoints, Azure SQL Server, Azure App Services, Microsoft Graph, Docker, and Dev Containers.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI pipelines, and infrastructure as code (bicep).
• Experience with message-driven stacks such as NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ is preferred but not required.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with the latest updates to the development stack.
• Be a participant and a leader in making decisions for enhancing or improving the development stack as part of our culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure, adhering to best practices and company standards.
• Report progress and assess continuous improvement opportunities for the Product Team.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience developing solutions with the Microsoft .NET development stack.
• Experience with the following frontend development stack: Razor Pages, MVC, Angular, Material Design, and jQuery.
• Experience with the following backend development stack: Microsoft .NET 8/9, Entity Framework, MediatR, FastEndPoints, Azure SQL Server, Azure App Services, Microsoft Graph, Docker, and Dev Containers.
• Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, continuous integration pipelines, and infrastructure as code (bicep).
• Experience with message-driven development stacks such as NServiceBus, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or equivalent is preferred but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, extreme temperatures, and the like. Travel and work outside of the office are required.
