Job summary

Branch International is seeking a technically deep product engineer to take lending ideas from concept to first disbursed loan. You will write the spec and code, own the full stack, and ship with minimal handoffs. This remote-first role offers the chance to work with AI agents and impact financial access at scale.

You will design borrower experiences end-to-end, build functional prototypes, and run experiments with clear kill metrics while collaborating with a small, focused Lending Lab team.

Qualifications

• Wrote production code and owned a full-stack implementation independently.
• Built products or tools with real users; demonstrated end-to-end ownership.
• Strong with modern development tools and AI-assisted coding.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new lending product ideas, research the market and score opportunities.
• Design borrower experiences end-to-end, including flows and edge cases.
• Build prototypes or MVPs using code and AI-assisted tools.
• Set success and kill metrics before each experiment and honor them.
• Run small experiments, collect data, and write crisp recommendations.
• Own tooling and integrations for disburse, track, and collect per product.
• Collaborate with Lending Lab Head on experiment prioritization.
