Job summary

insitro is a physical AI company redefining drug discovery through a Lab Platform that unifies science, automation, and ML. Based in South San Francisco, this hybrid role spans front-end to back-end and integrations with instruments and runtimes.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate across ML, automation, and biology teams, and help deploy agentic tooling to scientific workflows, while maintaining provenance and verifiability.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP, relational databases, and standard practices like version control and code reviews.
• Product-minded with curiosity about science and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Ship across the stack: frontends in React/TypeScript, Python services, and integrations to instruments and runtimes.
• Own feature end-to-end from initial conversation to data model, UI, and alert.
• Collaborate with ML, automation, and biology teams to build usable tools.
