Estrada Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance mission-critical web applications for a California public-sector client. You will support web-based solutions, system integrations, database operations, and technical documentation.

The role requires strong experience in full-stack JavaScript, UI frameworks (VueJS/React/Angular), REST APIs, and complex SQL queries. Remote work within the United States is required, with normal Pacific Time hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of demonstrated experience developing and maintaining mission-critical web applications.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience developing and maintaining web-based solutions.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience troubleshooting code and edge testing (full stack).
• Minimum four (4) years of experience performing complex database queries in Oracle/MS SQL Server for data conversion, data analysis and reporting.

Location: Remote – United States Only

Position Type: Full-Time Contract

Duration: 12 Months, with Possible 12-Month Extension

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time

Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance mission-critical web applications for a California public-sector client.

The consultant will support the development of custom web-based solutions, system integrations, database operations, business rules and calculations, testing, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, user-friendly, high-performance web applications.
• Develop full-stack functionality, including user interfaces, APIs, and database integrations.
• Integrate applications with existing enterprise systems and data sources.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data conversion, analysis, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot application code and perform edge-case testing based on user requirements.
• Implement configurable business rules, calculations, and data validation processes.
• Support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and application enhancements.

Mandatory Qualifications

MQ1. Minimum four (4) years of demonstrated experience developing and maintaining solutions that:

• Serve mission-critical applications.
• Are intuitive and user-friendly, requiring little formal training, with features such as online training, on-screen help, and decentralized account management.
• Are performance-oriented for fast response.

MQ2. Minimum four (4) years of experience developing and maintaining web-based solutions.

MQ3. Minimum four (4) years of experience troubleshooting code and performing edge testing based on user requirements/stories (full stack).

MQ4. Minimum four (4) years of experience performing complex database queries in Oracle/MS SQL Server for data conversion, data analysis, and visual reporting.

MQ5. Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:

• JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• VueJS, React, Angular.
• HTML and CSS.

MQ6. Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:

• Oracle SQL.
• Microsoft SQL Server.
• MongoDB.
• REST APIs.
• Functions, triggers, and stored procedures.

Desirable Qualifications

DQ1. Experience integrating PCI-DSS-compliant payment portals into web applications.

DQ2. Experience using Composition API in VueJS.

DQ3. Experience with MongoDB, Fastify, ExpressJS, or FeathersJS.

DQ4. Experience creating MongoDB Aggregation Pipelines with multiple stages.

DQ5. Familiarity with Linux and Docker images for local development.

DQ6. Experience with Vuetify or PrimeVue third-party component libraries.

DQ7. Experience using JavaScript libraries such as PDFMake to create PDF reports.

DQ8. Experience using Oracle SQL Developer or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

DQ9. Experience using Visual Studio Code (VSCode).
