Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking a Fullstack Java Developer in Charlotte, NC for a 12-18 month contract with potential to convert to a permanent role. Location is Charlotte, NC, with a pay scale of 60-65 USD per hour on W2.

Required skills include UI with HTML/JavaScript/CSS, Java/Spring Boot microservices, RESTful/SOAP integration, and experience with CI/CD, containerization, and large codebases. Candidates must be USC or GC per client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring Boot microservices and REST/SOAP interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of containerization and OpenShift.
• Experience deploying WAR files and integrating with downstream systems.
• Ability to work with large codebases and troubleshoot issues across teams.

Responsibilities

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• UI: HTML/JavaScript/CSS, JQuery, Handlebars, Node/NPM
• Services: Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Spring
• Security and Authentication, Hibernate/JPA
• Testing: Junit, Mockito, Jasmine
• Platform tools: SVN, BitBucket, Jira, Container
• Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, Apache Tomcat, Autosys
• Persistence: Oracle, Caching
• Other: Agile Scrum Scaled Agile,
• Open shift Container knowledge is highly desirable.
