Job summary

Apex Systems seeks an Application Developer to join a 12-month remote consulting engagement supporting Do Tax & Collections projects. You will design, develop, and maintain full-stack apps using Java and React, craft RESTful services, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL while deploying in Tomcat and cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years in Java with Spring and Hibernate, React skills, and experience with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms. Remote work option offered with US-based project scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Java development experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Oracle and PL/SQL proficiency.
• REST APIs, JSON and Web Services experience.
• Experience with Tomcat, Docker, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications using Java and React.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop Java apps with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and queries.
• Build and support containerized apps using Docker.
• Support GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage apps in Tomcat and cloud environments.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
