Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience building microservices-based applications; full-stack knowledge with HTML/CSS/JS/TS.
• Proficiency with backend languages (Java) and frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
• Experience coding in a large corporate environment and querying databases.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Understanding of secure handling of inputs/outputs and responsible AI in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality code using Java/JS frameworks with limited guidance.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools and validate outputs via peer review and tests.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software with consideration of upstream/downstream systems.
• Work through the software development lifecycle with automation capabilities.
• Troubleshoot, analyze large data sets and contribute to secure, stable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve design and functionality challenges.
