The role requires a Secret clearance with potential for TS/SCI, strong Java and front‑end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and experience with REST, Spring, Tomcat, and CI/CD in DoD‑related systems.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• BS in Computer Science or technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional Java software development experience.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, XSL, JSP, JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular or React.
• CI/CD pipeline and DevOpsSec knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL/stored procedures.
• Experience with MVC, REST, XML, JSON, Spring, or SOAP.
• Experience with Maven, Ant, or Bjam build tools.
• Git/GitLab version control experience.
• Tomcat and/or JBoss web servers.
• Ability to document technical designs and issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Implement enhancements and repairs in Java and C++ code bases.
• Provide support to fielded IBS Sites.
• Apply best technical design to meet customer requirements.
• Innovate to automate processes and improve system architecture scalability.
• Engage in agile development practices including sprint planning and reviews.
• Debug and troubleshoot code to resolve issues promptly.
• Write and run unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Document technical designs, processes, and issues encountered.
