Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Full-Stack Developer (Java / PostgreSQL) to support a federal law enforcement modernization program. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and sustain mission-critical applications in a highly secure environment.

Responsibilities include backend services with Java REST APIs, responsive front-ends using React/Angular/Vue, PostgreSQL data modeling, security controls, automated testing, and DevSecOps integration, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; active TS-SSBI or TS/SCI clearance preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications supporting mission operations.
• Design and develop Java-based backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Develop responsive front-end applications using React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and application data models.
• Implement authentication, authorization, auditing, and secure application controls.
• Perform data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
• Develop and support automated testing capabilities throughout the software lifecycle.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Create technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment guides.
