Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Software Development Engineer (Full Stack Engineer - J2EE) to design, build, and deploy cloud-based applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and SAP UI5. You will develop RESTful APIs, model data, and collaborate with SAP Fiori/UI5 frontends.

This role emphasizes performance tuning on JVM, CI/CD, and working with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, SAP BTP). You will join cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions

Qualifications

2+ years of full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, or SAP UI5 and REST/SOAP APIs.
2+ years of Web, Spring Security, and Spring Integration.
2+ years developing/deploying apps on SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, AWS or Google Cloud.
2+ years with MySQL, Oracle, SAP Hana.
2+ years backend development using Java and data modeling.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy full-stack cloud applications using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, or VueJS.
Create robust data models and secure RESTful APIs for frontend consumption.
Oversee the full application lifecycle from development to production.
Tune JVM performance and use monitoring tools like DynaTrace/JConsole.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions and integrate with SAP Fiori/UI5 frontends.
Design and develop the MCP Client / MCP Server.
