We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with modern frontend development experience using Angular or React. Experience within Banking and Financial Services environments is highly preferred.

Additional Information

*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and modern front-end technologies.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js or Angular.
• Utilize Python for automation, scripting, data processing, and service integration.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and architects to define technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices.
• Experience with React.js or Angular.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.
• Experience with Terraform, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations and Python-based frameworks.
• Financial Services or Banking domain experience is a plus.
