Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer in Jersey City, NJ to design, build, and maintain full-stack applications for critical financial systems. You will work with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and modern front-end tech such as Angular or ReactJS.

The ideal candidate has capital markets experience, proficiency in Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL, and a deep understanding of Equities and Fixed Income domains.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Front-end expertise in Angular (v17+) or ReactJS, with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficient with Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Financial services background in Capital Markets, Equities, or Fixed Income.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack applications supporting critical financial systems.
• Collaborate across teams to design and implement scalable services.
