Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a 12+ month contract. This hybrid role requires on-site interviews and pays $75/hr on W2 only, with no C2C.

You will work on Java/Spring back-end and Angular front-end, build microservices, optimize SQL Server queries, and implement CI/CD with DevSecOps practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Java app development with Spring, REST APIs, JDBC/JPA, and unit testing.
• 6+ years in Angular-based UI development, responsive and scalable interfaces.
• 3+ years in SQL Server development, queries, stored procedures, data modeling.
• Angular16+ experience.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices design and implementation.
• Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for tracking and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Must be able to interview onsite.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, and Unit Testing frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience developing responsive and scalable user interfaces using Angular.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database development, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Angular16+ experience
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design principles, and industry-standard design patterns.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting microservices-based applications.
• Experience implementing and supporting DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience leveraging GitHub Copilot, GitHub Copilot Agent, Devin, or other AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, and productivity enhancement.
• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms.
