Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned full-stack software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable enterprise applications for the FAA E-IDS environment. The role focuses on Java/Spring Boot back-end services and Angular front-end interfaces, integrated into microservices architecture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to DevSecOps practices across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information systems, mathematics, or related technical discipline
• At least five years of professional software development experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications
• Experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience developing modern, responsive web applications using Angular or similar framework
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Experience deploying containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Experience in Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban
• Experience debugging and optimizing enterprise applications across environments
• Experience integrating front-end with RESTful services and back-end systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications
• Develop back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using Angular or similar frameworks
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and cross-functional teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across environments
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote secure coding practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and DevSecOps practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Analyze and resolve defects and performance issues while driving continuous improvement
