Job summary

redalpha seeks a Full Stack Java/Angular Developer to sustain and enhance a geospatial collaboration tool used for intelligence reports by the IC and partners worldwide. You will support a high-performance repository for formal and informal intelligence products and implement enhancements driven by critical mission needs.

Required are 7+ years of software development experience, a BS in CS (or equivalent), and strong skills in Java, Angular, and associated tech.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field; four (4) addl years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with interfaces between multiple applications and their maintenance.
• Proficiency with Java, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Oracle, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful services and Solr.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool for intelligence reports.
• Enhance the tool based on high-priority mission needs while maintaining the existing code base.

Job description

A day in the life:

We are seeking a Full Stack Java/Angular Developer to focus on development and sustainment of various tools including tracking, administering and archiving requests for mission-critical reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world. The primary purpose of this role will be to maintain a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal intelligence products. In this role you will create enhancements for this tool based on high-priority mission needs while maintaining the existing code base.

What you bring to the table:

• 7 + years of relevant experience as a Software Developer/Engineer
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Four (4) addn'l years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• Experience with the following tools/technologies:
  • Java 8+
  • Elasticsearch
  • MongoDB
  • Oracle
  • Spring Boot
  • Angular
  • RESTful web services
  • Solr

Salary Range:

• Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
• Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $160,000 - $200,000.
