Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, or Phoenix, AZ.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location, requiring regular time in the office or in the field. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely at the manager’s discretion.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in Java with experience in Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST, and Microservices.
• Relational database experience (Oracle & SQL Server).
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
• Hands-on experience with Front-end - Angular 16.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of OWASP postings/vulnerabilities.
• Proficient with deployment tools such as Udeploy, Artifactory, GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services or banking background.
• NoSQL, Python, Kafka (additional skills).

Job Responsibilities

• Propose and design solutions to address complex business needs.
