Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer II (Full Stack) for the Health team in Boston. You will build secure, scalable clinical tools and wearables-related health data platforms, collaborating with Product, Design, Data Science, and Clinical teams.

You will work across the stack with React, TypeScript, Java, RESTful APIs, Postgres, Kafka, and AWS while contributing to secure, privacy-conscious workflows. The role expects hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience building secure applications with authentication and data protection best practices.
• Experience working with frontend architecture, component libraries, and design systems.
• Experience writing automated tests and producing clear technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for scalable, user-focused software.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross-functional team to build clinical tools and healthcare experiences.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Java, RESTful APIs, Postgres, Kafka, and AWS.
• Build intuitive, accessible user interfaces leveraging the design system to deliver consistent experiences.
• Design and implement secure backend services and APIs protecting health information.
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions and deliver features iteratively.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
