Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data. You will work with Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud databases to deliver scalable, secure web apps with rich data visualizations.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in full-stack development and data engineering, experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and hands-on CI/CD in containerized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience building full-stack apps for data visualization and analytics in ESRI GIS environments and cloud databases.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API authentication are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data visualization.
• Work with Data Lakes platforms including Databricks and Kubernetes; ESRI ArcGIS environments.
• Build scalable web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval features.
• Integrate APIs for data interoperability across Data Lake and ESRI GIS platforms.
• Deploy full-stack apps enabling data visualization, dashboards, and analytics within ESRI GIS and cloud databases.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API auth mechanisms.
